Lot 820 Thompson Center Contender .38 Spl #237911
American made break-action pistol chambered for .357 Magnum, manufactured circa 1984 in Rochester, NH. Pistol features a blued finish, an approximately 10" octagonal barrel, serrated raised ramped front sight, fully adjustable notched rear sight, partially serrated curved trigger, serrated hammer spur, knurled hammer extension, trigger guard doubles as an action lever, and centerfire/rimfire selector on hammer spur. The walnut furniture consists of a smooth forend, and single-piece right handed finger grooved grip with black plastic 'TC' embossed grip cap. The receiver is engraved with a puma and scroll designs on both sides. The original blued finish retained is approximately 99% with nothing remarkable. Metal displays no rust or deformation. Bore is bright with strong rifling, and the action is smooth and crisp. Wood furniture is excellent with only a few scattered very light handling dents.
